Happy Birthday, Charlie!

Sixth Sense Fitness would like to say a little Thank You to a very special member……Charlie Morris.

Charlie recently celebrated his 82nd birthday and is our oldest and certainly most consistent member training without fail 3 times a week at Sixth Sense Fitness.

Charlie attended a Boys High School from 1939-1944 and was an active member of Army Cadets during that time. On leaving school, Charlie joined the Army and in 1946 became their Heavyweight Boxing Champion. Charlie also played rugby for the Army in Austria.

In 1950 Charlie competed in the Open Police Boxing championships and reached the semi-finals.

In 1951 Charlie played rugby for Hereford RFC 1st XV and also for South Wales Police in 1961.

More importantly Charlie taught Bob Gardiner how to play golf!!!

We value all our members but Charlie is just that extra bit special and let's hope he has many more years training with us!

Many thanks Charlie from all the Sixth Sense Team.
